The Pet Castle, Inc. Animal Rescue

The Pet Castle, Inc. Animal Rescue is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. Our organization’s funds are earned through fundraisers and adoption fees. The Pet Castle, Inc. Animal Rescue will take in an owner relinquish Canine/Feline if we have the space and resources available to do so (if you can foster your own pet, this would help speed up the adoption process), and if the relinquished animal meets the requirements that have been set forth by our organization to deem the animal as being place-able through our rescue program.

Due to the nature of our donation based funding, The Pet Castle, Inc. Animal Rescue does require a monetary donation at the time the relinquished animal is turned over to our rescue program (this fee maybe waived, if you are able to allow the animal to reside with your until another home can be located). This monetary donation will be discussed with you by a representative from The Pet Castle, Inc. Animal Rescue. The monetary donation is used to cover the costs related to the care of the relinquished pet (i.e., medical needs, food, etc.).

If you have a pet that you can no longer keep due to certain circumstances, please complete the relinquish Form and submit it to us. Please send a photograph of the animal by either e-mail to KITTENSANDPUPPIES@FUSE.NET VERY IMPORTANT *PLEASE READ:

We do not accept any animal deemed not kid friendly.
All animals must be able to past a temperment test is required.
Due to the nature of our program, we are unable to accept Strays (this includes cats), nor do we accept Feral cats.
All animals that are of 4 months of age or older must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on all shots, including rabies. If you can not afford this, TPC maybe able to assist you in the process.
Cats must be tested for FIV and result must be negative *No exceptions*

IF YOUR PET MEETS THESE REQUIREMENTS, YOU MAY DOWNLOAD AND FILL OUT THE RELINQUISH FORM AND SEND AS AN ATTACHMENT TO KITTENSANDPUPPIES@FUSE.NET. You will then be contacted about your animal.

Please note that should your animal be deemed acceptable for rescue placement and The Pet Castle, Inc. Animal Rescue is full (It usually takes @ 2-3 weeks to find a suitable home for a pet), your name will be placed on a waiting list for the animal to be taken into rescue.

PLEASE NOTE: AS OF OCT 5TH AND UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, TPC WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING ANY NEW OWNER SURRENDERS. WE ARE NOW RUNNING ON A WAITING LIST. WE ARE LOOKING AT A POSSIBLE TWO MONTH BAN ON NEW COMERS.

A course, if you are returning a prior adoption from TPC, they are top priorty and we will always find a way to take them back.

Shelters will get have 2nd priorty and Owner Surrenders should be accepted again after Christmas if adoptions go good.

Remember, to spay and neuter your pets, and try running a classify ad on petfinder.com it's free, but ask for an adoption fee to weed out some homes which can not afford the care an animal should receive.
